Love is sharing a sleeping bag…!!
Well hello and happy 2010!
Have you all been enjoying the snow? Like most of the country we were snowed in and had great fun snowballing with the children.
We recorded the temperature at our house as -8 one morning, which really was toe numbing.
Being cold for one of our lovely couples, wasn’t a problem, decked out with thermols, Andrea and Kevin tied the knot in beautiful Finnish Lapland.
Snow, huskies and reindeer all made for a fabulous honeymoon. They even spent one night in the ice hotel under a 2000 tog duvet!!
Well done both of you.
Hot Weather, Hot Weddings, Cool drinks
Hi Guys,
are you all enjoying the hot weather? Or are you slowly melting into a big wet white puddle?
Well I was surfing for cool ideas and found this little beauty.
Brewtopia, have a fab website where you can customise labels for wine, champagne and even water.
Can you imagine your guests faces as they’re offered a beautifully chilled beverage with a wacky label designed by yourselves.
Even better they ship worldwide.
Check it out.

Hi Guys,
Sorry it’s been a while, I’ve had lots of fantastic wedding invitations to design. It amazes me how creative you all are. Having a theme is really popular at the moment.
Take a look at this fantastic idea that Rebecca, one of our Brides has sent.

It’s a VW camper wedding car all suited and booted to add that extra bit of fun to the proceedings.
Thanks Rebecca

I know it can be scary thinking about what to do for your first dance, but why not take a look at this?
I think you might need to get lessons!!
Good luck!

Contrary to popular beliefs, it’s not cold at all Up North. In fact I think that we’re the only part of Britain NOT covered in snow. So it got me thinking about all of you who are getting married this weekend in the snowy regions of the UK and so I decided to scour the net for unusual snowy wedding accommodation.
I found this unusual igloo village.
It looks really cool (sorry, couldn’t resist it).
The glass is treated so that it doesn’t freeze over and I guess it’s so cold you don’t need to worry about getting caught in your PJs.

Hi Guys,
happy new year to everyone! Okay, okay, I know it’s a little late, but it got me thinking. I was watching one of my husbands Christmas DVDs, Studio 60, written by the great Aaron Sorkin. (he who wrote West Wing).
One of the characters Matt Albie an executive script writer, has a countdown clock on his wall, that tells him how much time he has left until the next show is live on air.
Now, this could do one of two things to your psyche. It could get you all excited about how close you’re getting to your wedding, or like they say in the movies ‘it could freak the hell outta ya’
Well I thought I’d leave it up to you all to decide. I scoured the net to find you all a countdown clock and I found one from Ticker tocker.com
Take a look and fill your glass

Continuing our theme of unusual places to propose, how about this idea.
Have you ever fancied appearing on a billboard, like the super models that advertise perfume?
Well if you want the whole world to know, ehow show you exactly how to do it.

We’ve all heard about Disney’s fantastic ice productions, but hows about a little ice production of your own.
If you’re looking for an unusual place to pop the question, why not try The Rockefeller Centre in NY.
For a special price, they’ll clear the ice and play your special song for you to get down (or fall down) on bended knee and pop the question infront of a full audience.
Take a look at these videos on Brides.com and see if it makes your heart melt!
