Well, as we shred all the Christmas wrapping paper into tiny bits and try and fit it into the recycle bin, we look towards the close of 2010 and the arrival of 2011!

New Year is famed for starting afresh and making resolutions, but for couples getting married, this may have special meaning. Some thoughts for those getting spliced on the dawn of a new year may want to take a little time to look at the following resolutions:

1. Pick a time and place on New Years Eve and make it your place that you go back every year at the same time.
It might be where you first met, a park, a theatre or even in a department store just like the film Serendipity

2. Watch Romantic Movies, get in the mood with great films like Only You and Family Man.
La La La La La means I love you… Make sure you say it every day

3. Downsize and simlipfy your lives by gaining some free time. Hire in some help, like a cleaner, to make some space in your diaries to take walks or have a weekly evening out together.

4. Respect each others point of view and talk about it.

Finally

5. Make a schedule to have fun together. Remember that’s why it all started!
